Eggless Wholewheat Peanut Butter Cookies

My sister in law had given us of peanut butter. Since my kids do not like to use that as a sandwich spread, I thought of making cookies.

I have made today eggless wholewheat peanut butter cookies. The recipe I saw on the net had maida in it which I replaced with wholewheat and oats and have reduced the amount of butter used.
The cookies turned out to be very crunchy and delicious:)

Ingredients
Peanut butter- 1/2 cup
Butter- 1/2 cup
Sugar- 1 cup
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Whole wheat flour- 1 cup
Oats- 1 cup
Milk- 1/4th cup
Almond flakes- 1 tbsp
White choco chips- 1 tbsp
Dark Choco chips- 1 tsp
Method
Preheat oven to 180 deg cel.
Sieve wholewheat flour and baking powder together.
Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla essence well.

To this add the flour and oats, milk and mix well.
Fold in the almond flakes and choco chips and make a soft dough.

Divide into two portions, roll it in a parchment paper and chill for few mins.

Grease a baking tray. Line it with parchment sheet and grease the sheet with little butter.
Remove the dough from the fridge. Cut it into equal portions. Take one portion. Roll into a smooth ball and gently flatten it. Place it on the baking tray and flatten it again gently with a fork. Similarly make the other cookies.

Bake the cookies at 180 deg cel for 18- 20 mins or till it turns golden.
Let it rest in the oven for few mins.
Remove from the oven, cool it on a wire rack completely and then store it in an airtight container:)
