My daughter was almost pestering me to make something sweet. So, I made one of the easiest burfi that can made in a jiffy. Seven cups burfi is the first sweet dish that i had learnt to make during my college days. Today, I just added some chocolate powder to the recipe to give a chocolate twist as both I and my daughter are fond of chocolate.
I made this just half an hour back. I couldn’t manage to take a good picture as the light was not good. I still wanted to share the recipe immediately as this is very easy to make and you all could make for your family too. Everyone in my family loved it. Hope you all would like it too 🙂
Besan ( gram flour) – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Melted ghee- 1.25 cups
Grated coconut- 1 cup
Cocoa powder- 1 tbsp
Sugar – 3 cups
First add sugar and milk in a pan and cook till sugar dissolves.
Take off the pan from the gas, add rest of the things, mix well. There should be no lumps.
Cook the mixture till it froths up well and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Pour into a greased plate, level it and cut it into squares.
Burfi is ready to serve:)
